Styles P and araabMUZIK Bring Dark New York Energy on “Ghost of Gotham”

Styles P is back in familiar territory.

The LOX veteran has joined forces with producer araabMUZIK for “Ghost of Gotham,” a dark new single that puts New York lyricism and atmospheric East Coast production at the center of the record.

Released on September 9, 2026, through Araabmuzik, LLC, the 3-minute-and-25-second track brings together two veterans with deep connections to New York hip-hop.

For Styles P, even the title feels perfectly chosen.

He has been known as The Ghost throughout his career, while “Gotham” has long been used as a nickname for New York City.

Put them together and “Ghost of Gotham” sounds almost like a title Styles P has been waiting decades to use.

The Ghost Returns to Gotham

Styles P doesn’t need to reinvent himself to make “Ghost of Gotham” work.

Instead, the record leans into exactly what has kept him relevant for so long: direct writing, street perspective and an unmistakable voice.

Styles built his reputation alongside Jadakiss and Sheek Louch as The LOX, becoming part of a generation of New York rappers where lyrical ability was central to an artist’s reputation.

Decades later, “Ghost of Gotham” finds him operating from that same foundation.

The song isn’t chasing whatever happens to be dominating rap at the moment. It sounds deliberately connected to the darker side of East Coast hip-hop.

That makes araabMUZIK an especially natural collaborator.

araabMUZIK Sets the Atmosphere

araabMUZIK handles the production on “Ghost of Gotham,” giving Styles a backdrop designed to leave room for his voice and bars.

Rather than overwhelming the record, the production establishes a dark atmosphere around Styles’ performance.

It’s a pairing that makes sense.

araabMUZIK built his reputation through his remarkable MPC skills and his connections to New York rap, particularly his work around the Dipset era. His wider production résumé has also included artists such as The LOX, 50 Cent, Lloyd Banks, Joe Budden, A$AP Rocky, Benny The Butcher and Dave East.

Over time, araabMUZIK expanded far beyond traditional East Coast rap production, incorporating electronic music and other sounds into his work.

But “Ghost of Gotham” brings him back into a setting where his production feels completely at home: a veteran New York MC with something to say.
