Metro Boomin Wants To Create WWE Entrance Themes: “It’s A Lifelong Goal”

By Hiphopbx| May 29, 2025
Metro Boomin might be one of the most in-demand producers in hip hop, but he’s now set his sights on the world of professional wrestling.
The hitmaker behind some of the biggest records of the last decade took to X this week to reveal a dream that’s been with him since childhood:
“Would love to produce some WWE entrance themes. It’s a lifelong goal of mine.”
Metro has long shown love for wrestling culture. He previously made an appearance at WWE’s Bad Blood event last year and has hinted at deeper involvement with the brand. While WWE hasn’t officially responded to the tweet, his track record — and his massive influence in pop culture — could easily open the door.
He wouldn’t be the first hip hop artist to step into the WWE arena musically. In the past, stars like Three 6 Mafia, Lil’ Kim, and Naughty by Nature have crafted iconic entrance themes for superstars.
Meanwhile, Metro’s close collaborator Travis Scott has been making his own mark on WWE storylines. Most recently, La Flame stunned fans at WrestleMania 41 by helping John Cena secure a historic 17th world title. After a tense moment with Cody Rhodes that ended in a Cross Rhodes, Cena capitalized — and made history.
That match capped off a months-long feud between Scott and Rhodes, which began when Travis landed a real punch during Elimination Chamber, giving Rhodes a legit black eye and ruptured eardrum. Cody later said he’s not mad but is “looking for a receipt.”
As talk grows about a potential Travis Scott tag team match with John Cena and Logan Paul, Metro’s entry into the WWE soundscape could be the next major crossover between hip hop and wrestling.
