Diddy Requests Mistrial Over Balcony Assault Claims In Sex Trafficking Case

Sean “Diddy” Combs is once again pushing for a mistrial in his ongoing sex trafficking case, now alleging that the prosecution knowingly presented false testimony regarding a shocking 2016 balcony assault claim.

Diddy Accused of Dangling Woman From Balcony – But Was He Even There?

Defense attorney Alexandra Shapiro submitted a letter to Judge Arun Subramanian claiming “prosecutorial misconduct” after key witness Bryana Bongolan testified that Diddy violently dangled her off a balcony at Cassie Ventura’s Los Angeles apartment in September 2016.

Shapiro argued that Diddy was nowhere near LA during that time.

“The government knew or should have known this testimony was perjured,” Shapiro wrote, pointing out that Diddy was reportedly staying at the Trump Hotel in New York City from September 24–29, 2016. Hotel records were even marked as evidence by the prosecution.

The defense says this proves Diddy was on the East Coast, not in Los Angeles, contradicting Bongolan’s claims of the assault.

The judge has yet to rule on the latest motion for mistrial.

Bongolan’s Testimony Under Fire

Bongolan previously told the court that Diddy not only dangled her over a balcony, but also slammed her onto furniture, causing injuries and emotional trauma. She has also filed a civil suit against the Bad Boy mogul.

During cross-examination, Diddy’s legal team aggressively questioned her credibility, suggesting she fabricated the story.

More Trouble: Diddy Allegedly Paid $100K to Hide Assault Footage

Last week, another bombshell dropped when Eddy Garcia, a former security guard at the InterContinental Hotel, testified that Diddy paid $100,000 to obtain and bury surveillance footage of him assaulting Cassie in a hotel hallway.

“He said it had to be the only copy and that he didn’t want it getting out,” Garcia claimed in court.

According to Garcia, the cash was split between his boss Bill Madrano ($50,000) and two security staff, including himself.
